Seconds

Before reading this post, you should read the last 2 posts before this one to understand the whole story.

After the first date with her, I asked her when I can see her again. We decided to see each other again in two days. I had such a great time with her that I couldn't wait to see her again.

Second date I decided to take her to the Americana in Glendale. My co-worker told me it would be a great place to take her on a weeknight and it was near her neighborhood. After talking to her about it, she told me that she's never been.

I picked her up again and headed there. We decided to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. Again, we laughed, talked and ate. After the meal we went outside and walked around Americana. This place is basically an upscale outdoor mall with a huge fountain in the middle. So at night it was a nice setting to take a date to. We walked around for about an hour and decided to head back to her place.

When I got to her place we decided to hang out and watch TV. She only had one TV in her place and it was in her bedroom. So I felt somewhat awkward to just go in there and watch TV. But somehow it felt natural. We just layed there and watched Friends. She put her head on my chest and I put my hand on her side. Everything seemed perfect. I have to confess about something. If I put my hands on anything, I'm going to caress it. It's just a natural reaction for me. So here I was caressing her while she's falling asleep. Next thing I know she gets irritated by that and tells me to stop. She tells me that it feels like spiders on its bothering her. Kind of kills the mood. So I wait until the episode ends and cuts to a commercial and I call it a night. I give her a hug and I drive back home. The night ended pretty weird, but I still had good feelings about this girl. I really enjoyed her company.

The First Date

Before you read this, you should read the post below to understand the whole thing.

We decided to go on our first date together. I remember asking her where she lived so I can pick her up. She questioned me why I was going to pick her up from her place. She found it odd that I was going to pick her up at her place for our date. So I drive to Glendale a little bit after work. We decided to go to a restaurant near her apartment called California Pizza Kitchen (CPK for short). Over the phone she said she was nervous about going because it might be awkward. But it went off without a hitch. We talked, laughed, shared stories and ate. After finishing our meal we tried to think of something else to do before we call it a night. It was getting late so I decided to drop her off her place. She questioned me again when I was parking my car and as I opened my car door. I told her I was going to walk her to the door. I guess she found that weird, even though I thought that it was the right thing to do. So I walk her to her door, about to say goodnight and as she opened the door she asked me if I wanted to come in. So I did. After taking the tour of her place, I sat down on the couch in her living room. She puts Incubus' Morning View CD in her radio and she sits down next to me. For the next hour and a half we just talked some more. It was getting late and I had work in the morning, so I decided to call it a night. Trying to be the gentleman, I say goodnight to her and give her a hug. I didn't want to rush into anything with this girl since I wanted to be serious and take it slow. The past few times I've went on dates I rushed into everything and I didn't want that with this girl. She was special. The date was over and I thought it went pretty well.

The Beginning

I should start off with this.. I have a hard time trusting just about anybody. I let only a few people know who I really am. I've been through a lot of drama in my life that I try to keep anybody get involved, so I try to play it off as if I have no care in the world. This is the reason why I only have a handful of friends and why I stick with my family. I know for a fact that they won't hurt me intentionally. I can honestly count the number of friends I have that I trust with what I'm about to say with a single hand.

There's this new girl I started talking to. I won't say names here, so if you know me personally, then you probably know who I'm talking about. We talked for a couple of days by texting each other and talking on the phone. Everything seemed perfect. She was easy to talk to. We basically hit it off right off the bat. Everything seemed great. She asked me what I was looking for and I told her that I was looking for something serious. I've been single for over a year now. My past relationship ended pretty badly. Basically my ex cheated on me. So trusting someone new was very hard for me, but this new girl made it really easy for me to trust her. Everything seemed perfect. A bit too perfect.

Whoops

Appearantly I have a blog. I shall update tomorrow when I have time. Or maybe I'll post something tonight. I know damn well I'll be bored within the next couple of hours. Sorry, no pictures, it'll probably be about what I've been doing these past couple of days/weeks, which is Left 4 Dead on the 360 and this girl. Actually... I'll post about the girl. It's been bothering me a lot lately, I should just get it off my chest.

Last thought of the night.

I'm too lazy to put my iced tea in the fridge. Sad.

How am I going to get enough energy to even upload pictures.

And I can't wait till I go to Virginia on Wednesday.

Burnt by the Sun

Yes, the title is a band reference. Go listen to them. Their first full album is amazing if you're into hardcore. If not, it's just noise. Anyways...

Yesterday I had a full day in the beach. Zuma, to be exact. It's a beach in Malibu, California. The weather was perfect for the beach. I took every chance I had to take some amazing pictures, maybe I'll be able to get off my ass and upload some, but right now, my ass is lazy and I'll just rant off about my day.

I basically hung out in the beach with family and took pictures of random moments. Spent about a good eight hours there. I drank about four gallons of salt water. Half of which was taken through the nose and the other half went through my ears. I went body surfing first, but failed miserably since I haven't done that in years. I ended up curling in with the waves and enjoying salt water go up my nose. After getting my ass handed to I tried out bodyboarding. I was a bit more successful then, but I did get to hit a couple of little kids, which is either a good or bad thing. Which ever way you look at it.

So right now, I'm sitting here on the computer wondering when the pain will go away. What pain, you ask? The sun burn on my back, shoulder and chest. The pain I have in my calves every time I walk and the pain in my wrist. I can explain the sunburn part and even my calves, but I have no clue how my wrist hurts. Maybe I'm just being a baby about it.

Beach Day

Going to the beach tomorrow. Hopefully I can sneak in some great pictures while I'm there. I'm just praying sand won't go in my equipment. I've read horror stories about sand coming in places where they're not supposed to.

Different topic... My roommate once joked me about not doing much during my free time but play video games all day. I thought about this today because I had a pretty busy day. I had to run errands and whatnot. Buy stuff for my trip to Virginia next week, go to the bookstore again, buy shorts AND I went to the park to go people watching. The complete idiot that I am forgot to bring my camera so I didn't get any work done. I left my house around 10am. When I left my roommate was laying on the couch downstairs watching reality TV with a bag of chips laying on her belly. I come home at around 5pm and here she is laying on the couch downstairs watching reality TV with a different bag of chips laying on her belly. It put a smile on my face.

The Getty and Photography

I have decided to dedicate most of my free Saturdays to go to the Getty Museum and all over Los Angeles to take my photography one step closer. Closer to what? Who knows. I just want to start making a portfolio of everything that I've been taking and I think the easiest way to get my act together is to commit my free Saturdays to Still Life and Street Photography. Here's to my hopes of being paid to do something I love to do. Now all I need to do is to get another hard drive. All the pictures I've been taking are taking up most of my free space on my computer. That's with me having two external hard drives already. Ouch.

Whole Foods

Whole Foods has the best Korean BBQ from a grocery store that sells organic food. Oh, and I am addicted to Facebook. Leave me alone so I can upload more photos on my Facebook so I can tag them. Sad.

God Bless Freedom of Speech

Today after work, I decided to enjoy an hour or two on my newly arrived X-Box360. So I popped in Call of Duty 4 after I ate my Chicken Quesadilla from Wana Iguana and went to town. Right from the get go I was called every single racist comment known to man. All said by someone from God knows where with a high pitch voice of a little school girl with pigtails. I'm sure this is not the first time this happened on X-Box Live. I just think it adds value to the game. Can't get any worse than playing Halo 3 online. Back to playing with just friends.

Seriously not a bit jealous.

I just saw two guys walk in my roommate's room. Someones not walking straight tomorrow... I just threw up a little in my mouth.

Sad part about this.. Her kid is next door. I swear this is illegal in some states.

Last thought of the day.

I work with a guy that makes it his mission to be in every conversation.

I'm sure you work with someone like that too.

...If you don't, that person might be you.

The 360!

I finally got my XBox360 back from Microsoft's repair center. I can now play Rock Band with the cousins in peace again. My 360 died because my roommate decided to not get the A/C fixed at the house, so the damned thing overheated and shat out the three rings of death. Look it up if you don't know what I'm talking about, it's everywhere.

Now I can play my Call of Duty 4 all night long while regretting it the next day at work as I fall asleep on my desk. Responsibilities. Yum.

On a completely different topic... I am officially addicted to Facebook. I am sold that this place is a thousand times better than Myspace. For one, it doesn't have my ex-girlfriend sending me friends requests. If only she was smart enough to remember my last name. I swear I didn't notice her being that big of an idiot while we were dating. But that's another story. I'll try to post that tomorrow.

Brain Donors

You must watch Brain Donors. I loved this movie since I was little. I haven't seen it since I was around 13. The machine gun style delivery in the movie is priceless. Very slapstick style humor, but fun nonetheless. It's no Duck Soup, but hey, I was 13.

So Proud...

My sister just called me up to tell me that she just hustled Verizon into giving her and her husband two touch screen phones for 75 dollars. She told them they wanted to go to AT&T for the iPhone. She finally abused the power of being a customer. Better late than never.

My Roommate is an Idiot

I swear.. Not only is she the dirtiest person I've ever met, she is quite possibly the dumbest person. Before I get into this, I just realized that I vent way too much about my roommate. I'll be out of here shortly anyways. Getting myself an apartment soon, hopefully.

On with the venting! I mentioned earlier about the "laundry room". Basically the washer and dryer are both located in the "garage". I say "garage" with quotes because it's basically a landfill. It's a two-car garage but a scooter, let alone a full sized sedan, can fit in there. There is way too much crap everywhere. I think Jimmy Hoffa's body is buried under the trash/clothes/toys in the "garage".

This wouldn't bother me that much considering I don't spend a lot of time in there. Hell, it's the garage. The one thing that pisses me off is that there is absolutely no place to park my car anywhere near the house, or even the neighborhood at times. Especially when it's trash day and people decide to place their trash cans where people normally park at.

I was given a garage door opener when I first moved in here but I don't think it's a good idea. I might cause an avalanche in Mt. Trashmore.

I'm rambling and my thoughts are everywhere. I'm going to watch some more House MD.

Random thought before bed

I don't think I can tell if anybody even reads this. I'm such a whore. Goodnight.

Dirty Dirty Dirty

My roommate is quite possibly the dirtiest person on the face of this earth. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty messy myself. I have clothes on the floor in my bedroom and wires going around everywhere going to and from my computer/tv/360/wall sockets. I seriously have a new horror story about my roommate to tell my family every week. For example:

The above picture shows the "laundry room". When I'm lucky enough to actually use the washer and dryer (which is another story in itself), I get to look at this. Yes, that's a pile of clothes. Clean or dirty? Only God knows the answer to that question. I once found a roach crawling out of the pile. Possibly getting some fresh air because the stench of the clothes is questionable. When I say questionable, I mean I can't put a name to the smell. Maybe "old dirty sour soap"? My mom told me once, "Oh, she's a woman, so it's not that bad." The picture below says otherwise.

Yes, that is what you think it is. There's more of that scattered everywhere in the "laundry room". I wear shoes in there, in fear of stepping on something moist. That is all.

Hi

I just thought I would start my own blog again. I had my own personal space back in 1997 with my friends from Virginia Beach in high school. I remember being one of the first few to ever start one. I had an itch to do it all over again. I'll test the waters and see if I want to actually have my own domain and host it on my own, but for now, I'll just deal with some free blogging goodness and use blogger.com.
